i really love that! consider this post bookmarked. we have an empty space in our kitchen under this shelf of sorts and a bookcase would fit great there...
ooh...this just gave me another idea. I'm thinking I could use a short bookshelf in our master bath for rolled up towels, TP, and such.

As soon as my naughty little boys are grown and gone...I am totally going to do that. I love looking at cute, colorful dishes out in the open.
